The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust was founded in 1953, by the late Mr. K.C. Mahindra, with the objective of promotion of literacy and higher learning in the country.

The Trust is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.

"To transform the lives of people in India through education by providing financial assistance and recognition to them, across all age groups and income strata."

 

With this vision, K.C. Mahindra Education Trust continues to make a difference in the lives of thousands of disadvantaged students by offering them a variety of scholarships, livelihood training programmes and financial support. The Trust has provided more than USD 119.83 million in the form of grants, scholarships and loans. These funds are derived from the Trust’s investment portfolio, as well as from CSR grants made from the Mahindra Group of Companies.
